Zach Kuhlmann
President & Founder
Zach’s career in fiber optics spans over two decades. Zach’s journey began as a highly trained fiber optic splicer. In 2011 he started Zero dB communications with the drive to succeed and provide the highest quality product to his customers. Through his hard work and leadership, Zach has created a nationally recognized organization providing top-tier customer support and guidance of their networks to include full constructive and engineering activities as well as premier fiber optic splicing. Zach resides in Clayton Washington with his family enjoying time on his ranch and is a strong supporter of the Rodeo community throughout the United States.
Shane Stavros
VP of Operations
Shane has over 3 decades of telecom experience working for AT&T, GTE, Verizon, and Frontier Communications. Shane has a vast amount of knowledge in project management, budgets, outside plant engineering, permitting, construction, and construction management. Shane has been instrumental in driving the company’s growth, and profitability and expanding our construction team which is second to none. Shane enjoys time with family and friends, boating, and riding motorcycles throughout Northern Idaho.
Mike Solomon
VP of Splicing Operations
Mike is the leader of Zero dB splicing and testing teams. With an extensive background in construction and 28 years of field experience in all aspects of splicing and testing, Mike assures the consistency, quality, and safety of our technical endeavors with continuous training and mentoring of our field techs. Mike lives in Deer Park Washington and enjoys the four seasons the Northwest has to offer, taking advantage of outdoor activities with family and friends.
Jeff Jackson
VP of Strategic Projects & Long Haul
Jeff brings more than three decades of experience in the telecommunications and fiber optic industry, with extensive expertise spanning field operations, inside plant installation, outside plant engineering, fiber optic splicing and testing, underground construction, and project management. Throughout his career, Jeff has led technical teams and construction crews on projects ranging from routine installations to large-scale, complex telecommunications deployments. His hands-on field experience and technical knowledge provide valuable insight throughout every phase of a project—from initial planning and engineering through construction, splicing, testing, and final project turnover.
Jeff resides in Morris, Illinois, with his wife. Outside of his professional career, he volunteers with the local Emergency Management Agency (EMA) and enjoys amateur radio, weather spotting, and garden railroading.
Mark Kennedy
VP of Engineering Operations
Mark has worked in the telecom arena for over 3 decades, both for telecom providers and contractors. His career has led him to focus on engineering and consulting on large projects throughout the West Coast. Mark has worked closely with owners and municipalities creating fiber designs that meet tomorrow’s needs. Mark provides the Zero dB team with an aspect of knowledge that drives project success on a daily basis. Mark lives in Coeur d’Alene Idaho with his wife and enjoys all the outdoor activities Northern Idaho provides.
